We work with Founders as their institutional co-founder until their venture is a self sufficient organisation and ready to scale. But we are not advisors, mentors, investors, incubators or accelerators - we are all of these! Your mission, should you choose to accept 

(accountabilities)

1. DISCOVER – Identify and Shape High-Potential Venture Opportunities

  • Develop a clear sourcing and opportunity-mapping strategy to identify high-impact problem areas across manufacturing & engineering + technology & services sectors.
  • Scout founders, technologists, domain experts, and early-stage concepts that have the potential to be shaped into scalable ventures.
  • Build relationships with universities, research labs, incubators, accelerators, and industry partners to co-create venture concepts.
  • Attend relevant events (online/offline) to spot emerging trends, talent, and market gaps.
  • Publish thought-leadership content to attract entrepreneurs, innovators, and collaborators.
  • Leverage PR opportunities, if relevant, to strengthen brand visibility among potential founders and partners.
  • Lead the design and execution of in-house events (innovation sprints, venture studios, founder social, demo showcases)
2. BUILD – Take ventures from Zero → One

  • Drive end-to-end venture-building processes—from idea validation to MVP launch and early customer traction.
  • Work closely with founders and operators, acting as a ‘sherpa’ who guides without overshadowing—supporting with clarity, data, and practical wisdom rather than top-down control.
  • Facilitate founder workshops on critical themes such as problem–solution validation, design thinking, GTM strategy, business model development, financial modelling, and fundraising.
  • Engage and manage a network of mentors, subject matter experts, and vendors across domains like strategy, product, technology, operations, sales, marketing, finance, and fundraising.
  • Implement essential tools (CRM, collaboration tools, market intelligence platforms, etc.) to streamline venture-building workflows.
  • Maintain transparent and structured documentation of decisions, communications, and venture hypotheses—with clear “why” and data-backed reasoning.
  • Support follow-on fundraising by preparing ventures for syndicates, investor conversations, and early-stage capital raises.
  • Train and guide new team members joining the venture studio.
3. VALIDATE & INVEST – Select the Most Promising Ventures to Build Out

  • Run market research, competitive landscape analysis, and feasibility assessments to identify viable venture opportunities.
  • Lead pipeline management and ensure smooth coordination between internal teams, founders, consultants, and investors.
  • Develop internal scorecards and frameworks to evaluate venture concepts, founder–market fit, operational feasibility, and long-term impact.
  • Collaborate with legal and domain experts to conduct due diligence and finalize agreements with co-founders, partners, and vendors.
  • Continuously gather feedback from founders and internal stakeholders to improve venture-building processes. 

What You Need to Bring to the Table

(skills, character traits)

  • Hands-on experience building startups from scratch, either as a founder, early founding team member, or in a venture-building / incubator / accelerator leadership role.
  • Deep product-building expertise—ability to take ideas from concept to MVP to early revenue.
  • Demonstrated ability to raise capital, achieve product–market fit, or build sustainable revenue streams in a startup environment.
  • Willingness to work primarily for profit share (similar to equity participation), aligned with venture-building incentives.
  • Experience working with multiple startups simultaneously—consulting, advising, or managing programs within a VC, accelerator, incubator, or venture studio.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with access to the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem.
  • Ability to work seamlessly across multiple functions—product, operations, GTM, finance, strategy, and more.
  • Structured thinking, design-thinking mindset, and the ability to architect venture development workflows.
  • Personality: structured, motivated, humble, energetic, empathetic, socially confident, and patient—able to guide and empower founders without overpowering them.

What You Can Expect From Us

  • For sufficiently qualified candidates compensation is fixed at INR 1 Lakh + profit share (similar to carried interest), applicable for professionals with 10+ years of relevant experience. For candidates with lower experience but strong potential, compensation will be adjusted in line with risk and expected growth.
  • Support in finding a temporary landing pad in Goa during your time here. Access to our shared dorm-style accommodation at no additional cost (if you are comfortable with shared living spaces).
