ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a proactive individual to join our team as a Associate, Copy Writing. As a copywriter, you will be responsible for creating content for the social media accounts of multiple NGOs, helping them amplify their impact and engage their audiences online. You will develop tailored content strategies for each organization, & create
written content for LinkedIn and Instagram.
As WeDoGood is a startup in the scaling phase, we are looking for someone who can take ownership and demonstrate leadership qualities. You will be working with the latest technology stack, including no-code tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute social media content strategies tailored to org’s objectives.
- Curate and generate content, including posts, stories, and videos, that aligns with NGO missions & brand.
- Create and manage social media calendars, ensuring consistency and timeliness of content.
- Ideate and craft content for social media marketing campaigns to increase visibility and engagement.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to optimize content and strategy.
- Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to enhance NGOs' online presence.
- Work closely with our Social Media Managers and nonprofit stakeholders to ensure all content aligns with broader strategy and goals
REQUIREMENTS
- 0-2 years of experience in social media content creation
- Strong content creation and curation skills
- Experience building and managing social media calendars and campaigns
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills to adapt tone and style
- Familiarity with analytics tools to understand and improve social media performance
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for social impact and nonprofit work is a plus
WORK EXPECTATIONS AND CULTURE OVERVIEW
- This is a full-time role requiring availability 6 days a week, including Satursdays (half day) and Sundays off. We do provide flexibility in work timings, allowing you to manage chores and personal commitments during the week.
- The role demands a strong willingness to work 45+ hours a week. We wouldn’t be able to take your application forward if you have circumstances preventing you from meeting these requirements.
